
Palembang (UR): Singapore dominated the hunt for gold at the Jakabaring aquatic arena in Palembang on Tuesday at the 26th SEA Games.
After the fourth day of the swimming competition, Singapore has bagged 10 gold medals, four silver and 7 bronze from the pool. They are followed in a distant second by Thailand with 5 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Indonesia is in third with 3 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals.
Vietnam, which has one gold medal, round out the gold medal-winning countries in the pool.
Three SEA Games records have been broken, one each by swimmers from Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
With only 19 of the 38 swimming gold medals handed out so far, the rivalries in the pool are expected to heat up.
