
The sponsorship, which is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, will cover financial support, products, and campaign to raise public awareness of the Games.
“As private sector, Indofood has its responsibility to success every government’s program. Not only to support the economy, Indofood also shows its concern in the country’s sports development through the sponsorship,” said Indofood Director, Franciscus Welirang after the signing ceremony held at FX Building.
Minister of Youth and Sports Andi Mallarangeng, who attended the ceremony, expressed his gratitude to Indofood for supporting the government and organizers to make the Games a success.
“I hope more and more sponsors would join in to sponsor the Games and make the event the country’s pride,” he said.
With Indofood joining in, INASOC has so far signed contracts with three prestigious partners. The previous two are electronics company PT. Panasonic Gobel Indonesia and national flight carrier Garuda Indonesia.
“We all hope Indofood’s support would be a part of the Games’ success,” said Rita Subowo, President of INASOC.
