Opening Ceremony SEAGAMES 2011

Indonesia is organizing SEA GAMES for the fourth time. The opening ceremony itself will be held on Friday, November 11 2011 located in Bumi Sriwijaya Stadion, Jakabaring, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. This opening ceremony involved thousands of dancers, singers, and also artists originally come from South Sumatera.

This event will also be enlivened by Indonesian famous singer, Agnes Monica, Jaclyn victor from Malaysia, and KC conceptions from Filipina.  Moreover, there are other unique performances that have been designated for this event, those are cultural performances, fireworks and electric canvas entertainment as well.

The local committee whose located in Jakarta will also having a smaller version of the opening ceremony that willl be held at National Monument (read: MONAS). This event was held to welcome the contingents who will carry out their match in Jakarta.

A number of of singers and band are scheduled to perform on this event, there will be Maia, Sandy Sandhoro, Titi DJ, Netral and Cokelat. Apart from that, the local committee in Jakarta will still be viewing the main ceremony that’s running in Palembang.
