And then, when Yayasan Kartika Jaya decided to be more seriously involved in the hotel industry, the Kartika Chandra was born.
In less than three years, the Kartika Chandra grew into a four star hotel. In its development, the Kartika Chandra is able to bring back the charm of a traditional style lobby with its Joglo architecture, which is adorned with wooden carvings of golden ornaments of Yogyakarta and Central Javanese styles.
