EX Plaza and Plaza Indonesia

 

Now here’s a place we’re sure you’ll never hesitate to visit. The outer walls of eX plaza is attractive indeed that rarely people are able to resist the temptation to stop by. Okay we admit it is a bit over the top, but eX’s exterior does look a bit out of the ordinary compared to other buildings surrounding it. And we’re still sure you’ll find it hard not to visit this mall especially if you happen to be in Sudiriman area near the HI Circle (Bundaran HI). Walking distance from eX is the luxurious Grand Hyatt business-hotel and another mall no less grand than the hotel connecting to it, Indonesia Plaza – all of which directly conjoin with each other allowing visitors to walk from one place to the other via connecting corridors/hallways. More importantly, as you can see in the above map, eX is close to at least three hotels (including Grand Hyatt) as well as Sarinah, a shopping center/market well known for its cheap goods.

Amongst the  various restaurants, cafes, and fastfood shops, eX’s first floor/ground floor offers you a number of other things such as electronic/mobile phone shops; and fashion. If you step onto the second floor, you will find very similar shops, offering you a wide variety of dishes and entertainment. Speaking of which, this is where you want to be particularly during night time as it has a Hard Rock Cafe as well as Cinema XXI. Or you can simply chill out while having a nice hot cup of coffe at one of our cafes such as Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

Remember earlier we told you that eX connects to Plaza Indonesia? It is on this floor that you’ll find the corridor leading to one of Indonesia’s most well known luxury-malls. Just walk down through the corridor where you’ll find Beatz, Celebrity Fitness and Kafe Betawi on your right. Keep walking and you’ll find a more grandeur shopping center, the Plaza Indonesia.

Once you enter Plaza Indonesia, whether it’s from the connecting corridor or the main entrance, you’ll find numerous fashion shops of high-end brands. Whichever entrance you come in from however, you’ll see the mini-atrium seen in the picture above. The mini atrium holds various types of events, from events for children to high-class fashion shows. Just like eX, Plaza Indonesia is not hard to find as right on the main road you’ll see a fascinating statue of several women posing as if they’re waving to you inviting you to come inside the mall:
