           About 70% of the world’s surface is covered by seawater, home to various fascinating sea creatures some of which, might not have even been discovered yet. As an archipelago country, Indonesia knows well how to use this to our advantage such as by using the pristine waters as beautiful tourism sites and using some of the sea creatures for... wait for it: food!

           We can never be sure if there’s a heaven for these sea creatures, but we do know that there’s one for sea food lovers and it’s called, Bandar Djakarta. Located on the coast of Jakarta’s Northern shores, Ancol, on Carnaval Beach, across Putri Duyung Cottage, the restaurant provides you with countless varieties of sea food and can be cooked in any of the available choices, at about Rp. 10,000/kg for the cooking charge. In our opinion however, whatever way you choose it to be cooked, you’re guaranteed a succulent dish resulting from the combination of the freshest seafood with the rich taste of spices.

           Best of all however, is that you have a choice of different sections of where to sit. Our personal favorite is of course the sea-view on the beach, particularly romantic during sunset and at night.
