South Sumatra
Great news for adrenaline junkies! Located Southeast of Mount Dempo, at Manna’s upriver, is a famous destination frequently visited by both local and overseas tourists. It is particularly famous for its variety of difficulty-levels and in a fun way for sure, it is a quite challenging river. Although the starting point begins at a rather slow pace, 15 km ahead awaits exciting rapid gushes of water guaranteed to rapidly pump loads of adrenaline even out of the toughest tourist.
Despite practically being on no-man’s-land, visitors must not worry about places to sleep as the site provides numerous accommodation and rafting facilities, particularly provided by Indonesia’s white-water rafting organization, FAJI (Federasi Arung Jeram Indonesia).
