
Serabi is kinda gourmet food in Indonesia. It is similar with pancakes or pannenkoek (Dutch) and given a sweet liquid broth (usually sugar palm). This sauce varies according to regions in Indonesia. Serabi (pancake) is a foreign food in Palembang. However, the courage of four herd from Bandung (West Java) to introduce traditional snacks in town pempek makes pancake become one of culinary delights people of Palembang, namely Café Surabi Marja. With the creation and good taste, this food was then acceptable, even preferred. There are 38 types of pancakes, but the most favored buyers were pancake remix, which is composed of pancake flour, eggs oncom, cheese in the mix, and mixed with mayonnaise, making it the most widely eaten pancake.
