Vision

To be successful in Hosting the 26th SEA Games, to achieve the best Sporting performance, to create a Legacy for the future generations, and to achieve economic benefit from the Games.

Mission

To make an effort for the advancement of Olympic Spirit, and to promote Olympic Movement amongst Southeast Asian nations, to strengthen solidarity, friendship and cultural exchanges amongst Southeast Asian Nations, and to contribute towards a harmonious relations between Southeast Asian Nations.

Goals:

1. To host an attractive event, and also to become one of the best sporting event to showcase the characteristics and cultural diversity of Indonesia, through efficient and effective planning and organization, artistic venues and facilities, friendly and customer-oriented services, and an overall supportive environment for all SEA Games Participants.
2. To showcase the socio-economic development of Indonesia in general, especially the provinces of South Sumatera and DKI Jakarta.
3. To showcase the rich cultural diversity of Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.
4. To showcase the hospitality of Indonesian People to the World, especially to people from other Southeast Asian Countries.
5. To accelerate the development of sport, culture and globalization of South Sumatera and DKI Jakarta.

Principles:

1. To uphold the Constitution and Statutes of SEA Games Federation, and to fulfill all the contractual obligations as the Host Country.
2. To develop and maintain communications and cooperation with SEA Games Federation and Olympic Council of Asia.
3. To maintain the commitment of the Government and the participation of the general public and professionals.
4. To optimize post-SEA Games utilization of venues and facilities in order to create a lasting Legacy for sustainable development.
5. To emphasize the importance of Marketing and Promotion for SEA Games.
6. Effective and Accountable finances.
